Dale

It seems like Mo doesn't go anywhere without her trusty sidekick Dale. They've been best friends forever and they do everything together—even chores and running the café when Mo's guardians are out of town. Mo stands by Dale when he's a suspect in Mr. Jesse's murder, and Dale follows Mo on the trail of a dangerous killer, though he's pretty frightened. They'll stick with each other through thick and thin, which is good because they have to make their way through some pretty tough times in this book.
