will grayson
- will's mom wants to meet Tiny and is clearly pretty thrilled about her son's first boyfriend—she's cleaning the house like crazy and making a fancy dinner when Tiny's car pulls up.
- will is a bit surprised when Tiny pulls up in a silver Mercedes. He never realized that his big hunk of man was also super rich.
- Naturally, Tiny is a hit with the parents. What's not to love about Tiny Cooper?
- Over dinner, he tells will's mom all about Hold Me Closer and how the rewrites are going. It's kind of stressing him out, but it's nothing Tiny Cooper can't handle.
- Tiny also mentions that he brought Mom a hostess gift. It's a fancy glass bowl that's clearly way nicer than anything will's mom has in the rest of the house. It's so beautiful that Mom almost cries. Aww.
- He also treats her to some songs from Hold Me Closer and will's mom is totally smitten with Tiny.
- will finally shows Tiny his room and Tiny notices that will takes medication for depression; Tiny admits that he feels depressed sometimes, too.
- will knows it's not the same thing, though. Everyone feels down or sad sometimes, but depression is different—what will feels is different. Of course he doesn't say any of this, though.
- When will gets a text from Gideon, Tiny seems a teensy bit jealous, but will assures them that he and Gideon are just friends.
- Then they kiss.
- When Tiny asks about will's dad, will kind of freaks out a little. It's not that he thinks Tiny is being nosy or anything, he's just not ready for this kind of intimacy.
- Bad things are always happening to will—he's constantly in pain—but Tiny makes him forget about all that. will thinks the other shoe is going to drop eventually, though—that one day Tiny will be gone and will will be back to feeling miserable about himself.
- But for now, Tiny is so sweet and so kind that will can't help but just give in a little. Even if he doesn't really believe that all this lovey stuff is going to work out so well in the end.
