will grayson
- will and Gideon arrive at intermission. will isn't one hundred percent sure their plan is going to work, but he's going to try anyway.
- As they walk in, will notices that the crew is carrying a swing set onto stage. Gideon, who knows all about Tiny and will's relationship, seems to get it right away.
- On the car ride over, they talked about everything. will finally gets what Maura wanted from him—love, closeness, affection. While it was never going happen, he finally gets why she had to try.
- As the second act opens, will sees about eighteen boys parade onto the stage. These are all Tiny's ex-boyfriends, and the last one is obviously supposed to be will because he looks kind of moody and dark.
- That's when will decides to call the other Will Grayson. They meet up in the lobby and will tells Will his plan. Will thinks the plan is a little insane, but he's willing to help, so long as will goes first.
- Back in the theater, the on-stage will grayson is sitting on the swing and talking with Tiny. They are going over the end of their relationship. will says he's like a pinless hand grenade, but Tiny says he likes him anyway.
- On-stage Tiny explains that life and love are just series of fallings and landings. Sure, it's not always awesome, but that's the way things are; he just wants on-stage will grayson to be happy. People love falling, but not always the landing.
- The real will grayson doesn't exactly agree. He's been falling his whole life—into a sinkhole of depression—and he'd much rather stand on solid ground. Maybe that's what he's trying to do right now with Tiny and Gideon.
- On-stage Tiny starts to swing on the swing set. He swings so high and finally jumps off and grabs onto a rafter up above the stage. And then he lets go and falls to the ground.
- And then he sings another song about falling and landing over and over again. Tiny clearly believes everything he's saying: Life is all about the falling, so don't worry so much about the landing.
- will thinks that life's about the floating, though, the feeling of hanging in mid-air before you land.
- In the second before the show ends and the ovations start, will stands up and shouts out to Tiny, "My name is will grayson. And I appreciate you, Tiny Cooper!"
- Then another man stands up. He's a twenty-something in a hipster vest, and he tells everyone that his name is also Will Grayson and that he appreciates Tiny Cooper, too.
- Then William T. Grayson stands up. Then Wilma Grayson. Then a ten-year-old boy named Will Grayson IV.
- Then a gorgeous hunk of man in hot pink pants stands up and says, "My name is Will Grayson. And I love you, Tiny Cooper."
- Finally Will says it, too. Then Jane. Then the rest of the cast. Then the entire audience. Everyone loves and appreciates Tiny Cooper.
- will realizes the truth: Tiny has brought them all together; he's done what he set out to do. Everyone applauds. Everyone loves everyone.
- And Will Graysons everywhere are super happy.
