Move over, wine, because beer is having a major moment. Specifically, craft beer, which is basically the quirky, independent, artsy brewing in the beer world. Five of the fastest growing beer brands are craft beers, and craft is expected to make up fifteen percent of the beer industry by 2020.
That's great news for you—it means that craft breweries and microbreweries, especially in the northeastern United States, are hiring like crazy. Take a course, and then take whatever entry-level job you can find at a craft brewery. If you can show that you're serious about brewing, you know what it really means to be a brewer, and you can easily carry a barrel the size of an overweight child...then you're in.
