Cross your fingers that the brewery hires a junior brewer you can boss around. Otherwise, as a regular brewer, you follow someone else's recipe and clean up other people's messes.

Your best bet for power? Become a brewmaster, or a Master Cicerone, which is the highest level of certification a brewer can reach. Currently, there are only seven in the world. If you're a Master Cicerone, you're a deity in the beer world.
