He paved the way for future college hoopsters and fellow Pro Bowl tight ends like Antonio Gates (Kent State), Jimmy Graham (Miami), and Julius Thomas (Portland State).

Bill Bradley. A Rhodes Scholar at Princeton University, Bradley would go on to win a pair of NBA championships with the New York Knicks during his ten-year career. Then, he became a U.S. Senator. 

2 Chainz. Before he launched his rap career under the less-than-flattering moniker, "Tity Boi," Tauheed Epps received a scholarship to play basketball at Alabama State University. No lie. 

Tom Selleck. A clean-shaven Selleck started out as a male model in Los Angeles while attending USC on a basketball scholarship. Several years and one thoroughly impressive mustache later, he launched his acting career. We assume that's where all the mojo came from. It's all about the 'stache.
