Team Qualifications
Doing well in junior tournaments is probably the best way to get considered for a college golf team. This is your time to impress some scouts and coaches. Keep in mind, though…you'll have pretty stiff competition (Source).
Even if you're freakishly good (of course you are), you should be proactive and send out resumes, tapes, letters, and anything else that might impress the college golf coaches. You should plan to visit in person, too. Let the coaches know that you're not only extremely talented, but oh-so-humble and hardworking.
College coaches will look at your fundamentals. They're seeking athletes with sound strokes and the skills to build on their game. General athleticism is also important, as it shows your ability to learn and stretch (source).
Multi-sport athletes tend to impress these guys. Just make sure your stroke is better than Charles Barkley's.
