Character Analysis
A "slender young man in royal livery" (1.119), Timon is one of the many palace servants. He shows Alanna around at first, and reassures her that "she would soon learn her way around" the palace (2.22). He seems to have a lot invested in rules and such, since when he's asked to do something unorthodox like announce Sir Myles at Prince Jonathan's sickbed, he looks "as if his world had turned upside down" (4.56). We guess that it'd be hard to not get super accustomed to rules while living in the palace.
