How we cite our quotes: All quotations are from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Quote #1
DUMBLEDORE: And now our friends from the north. Please greet the proud sons of Durmstrang and their high master, Igor Karkaroff.
Dumbledore gets the Triwizard Tournament off to an extremely friendly start, introducing the headmaster and headmistress of their rival schools super warmly. You'd never guess they'd be sending kids to compete in super dangerous tasks.
Quote #2
HARRY: Someone's coming.
SIRIUS: Keep your friends close, Harry.
This is pretty timely advice from Sirius, given that Harry and Ron have been in a very silly fight about nothing. With people putting Harry's name in the Goblet of Fire and other weird stuff afoot, Harry might want to clear things up with the people he has traditionally trusted most.
Quote #3
RON: I reckon you'd have to be barking mad to put your own name in the Goblet of Fire.
HARRY: Caught on, have you? Took you long enough.
RON: I wasn't the only one who thought you'd done it. Everyone was saying it behind your back.
HARRY: Brilliant. That makes me feel loads better.
Finally, Ron has figured out that Harry did not try to cheat to get into the Triwizard Tournament. Sure, Harry is mad that he didn't realize/admit that fact in the first place, but it's all good: at least these two have made up so Harry can focus on real enemies.
