If Hope Was Here were remade as a Looney Tunes cartoon, Sheriff Greebs would undoubtedly be played by Yosemite Sam. It's not hard to imagine either one of them strutting into the Welcome Stairways and shouting, "Now all-a-you skunks clear outta here!" Greebs is G.T.'s nemesis and will lie, cheat, and steal in order to keep Millstone in the mayor's seat.
Greebs' tactics work no better than Yosemite Sam's schemes to catch the elusive Bugs Bunny. The plump, red-faced guy (we're talking Greebs here) finds himself "up to his earlobes in corruption charges" and flat out of a job once G.T. takes over as Mayor.
The message here is clear: good triumphs over evil. That's all folks!
