Guillermo Garcia and Grandma Sweetwine

Guillermo, "rock star of the sculpture world" (because that's a thing), agrees to take Jude under his wing when she's flunking out of art school. (2.121) He's not just a mentor; he's also like a therapist. He helps Jude with an important emotional breakthrough, and makes her a better sculptor to boot.

Jude's other guide is her dead grandmother, who mostly advises her in matters of the heart. She floats around urging Jude to make better fashion choices…and also left a "bible" full of advice for Jude to study during her off hours. Plus she's a big David Bowie fan. Cool Grandma.
