Zero Period
- Leticia arrives at school, annoyed that she has to come to zero period (before the school day actually starts) because she failed a math test and needs to make up the credit.
- As Leticia walks to class, she thinks that her early class isn't her fault: It's her teacher's fault, and her parents' fault, because her teacher didn't give her the points on the math test and her parents didn't let her take the class during the summer.
- Once Leticia is waved through the metal detectors, she goes to zero period geometry. As students start to arrive for the real school day, Leticia writes a bathroom pass for herself, asks the teacher to sign it, and rushes out of the classroom, deciding to take the side stairwell.
- There, she witnesses an OMG moment.
