Kizzy and the Popular Girls

Kizzy can't compete with the popular girls at school and constantly feels inferior to them. What Kizzy hasn't realized yet, though, is that just because she's different from the popular girls doesn't mean she's less attractive or appealing. Whereas the other girls are conventionally pretty, Kizzy is beautiful in a way that she stands to be recognized for more and more over the years. She doesn't see her own worth yet, though, and thinks she's an ugly duckling next to other girls.

Anamique and Estella

After Estella gives up her life in exchange for the lives of those who died after hearing Anamique's voice, Anamique becomes the new Ambassador to Hell. Both women fearlessly charge into Hell to save the men they love at some point, but Estella never gets her husband back while Anamique gets to have her husband—and her family—back in her life. She's like Estella 2.0.

Esmé and Mab

Esmé and Mab are the kind of mother-daughter duo that's super close. Heck, these two even look like they could be twins, or at least sisters. Mab has experienced terrible things in her life that kept her from having a carefree youth, though, but Esmé still has that chance. In the end of "Hatchling," Esmé is thriving and enjoying normal teenage activities while her mother gets to watch on wistfully. Their experiences growing up are drastically different, but Mab is happy for her daughter.
