Kizzy's Grandmother

Even though Kizzy's grandmother is dead in "Goblin Fruit," she still plays a big part in the story when it comes to guiding her granddaughter and trying to keep her out of harm's way. The only reason Kizzy even questions Jack is because she has her grandmother's voice inside her head telling her to be careful.

Estella

Despite the fact that Estella is often referred to as "the old bitch" in "Spicy Little Things Such As These," she's really Anamique's mentor and guide. Even though Estella doesn't interact with Anamique much over the years after she delivers the curse, Estella does keep an eye out for the girl. And in the end, it's Estella who helps Anamique with the most difficult task of all—bringing all of the people who died from the curse back from Hell.

Mihai

Mihai is a Druj, but he's incubated in enough human souls to understand and feel some emotions of his own—and now that he's cobbled together a soul, he wants to help other Druj do the same, starting with the Druj Queen. He is also the character in "Hatchling" who helps Mab escape from Tajbel when she's still pregnant with Esmé, saving them both from further servitude, plus he helps Esmé accept the painful process of separating from the Druj Queen. In other words, pretty much everyone owes Mihai some sort of thanks.
