- While Margaret demands to know what's going on, Christine laughs at the insanity of the whole situation and goes back downstairs.
- Margaret is annoyed. She calls Jim immature and goes back into her room.
- Jim tries to get back into her good graces, but she tells him to go away. As he leaves, Jim can't help but think of how well Christine responded to the situation, compared to Margaret.
- At this point, he begins to decide that Christine is not only more attractive than Margaret, but also a totally cooler person.
- Margaret also half-accuses Jim of having some sort of relationship (or at least an attraction to) Christine.
- Before Jim can comfort her, she shakes him away and tells him to get away.
- She berates him for trying to take advantage of her the night before.
- Jim knows that he's in the wrong, even though Margaret is doing everything she can to guilt him more than necessary.
- The only thing Jim can think to say is that things are still good between Margaret and him.
- Before you know it, someone is calling out Jim's name. It's Bill Atkinson on the telephone, putting in the fake call about his parents visiting.
- No one's paying attention to Jim, so it's really awkward when he raises his voice to tell everyone he's leaving.
- No one knows how to react to this, even after he's said that his parents are visiting.
- While he's saying this, Margaret shows up followed by Johns. Jim notices that Margaret has regained her spirits really quickly, and wonders if Johns is part of the reason (maybe they have something going on).
- As Jim leaves the house, he avoids Margaret's eye. But Johns smiles at him as he goes.
- Mwa-ha-ha.
