Mother Barker's husband, he absolutely adores his wife. He is the one who builds the fire Abby is born next to, and way later in life, he agrees to leave their home to Abby after he and his wife are both dead so she can turn it into a Healing House.
Sister Lightsey
One of the Lightsey clan, she busts Abby sneaking a snack from their garden and proceeds to chase her around with a switch to teach her a lesson.
Willie Johnson
Willie is Lily Norene's husband who beats her, rapes her, and cheats on her. A real class act, this one.
