How It All Goes Down
- There's trouble at the Clark household: "the sleeping arrangements just weren't working" (16.1). Lou spends a lot of nights at Patrick's flat, despite him usually being out training, and despite the fact that she hates sleeping there.
- Later that week, Will notices that Lou looks particularly sleepy and asks what's up. She explains the whole housing situation to him, which leads him to make a surprising proposition—she should live at the Traynor house.
- Later, Will and Lou talk about Will's dad's affair. They're really laying the cards on the table, huh?
- A few days later, Lou's dad announces some more surprising news: he has a new job. Score. He'll be the new head of maintenance at the castle.
- And you know who runs the castle? Mr. Traynor.
- Lou is happy for her pops, but she suspects that Will used her knowledge of his dad's affair to blackmail him into giving Mr. Clark the job. Will doesn't deny it.
- That night, Lou goes to Patrick's triathlon meet-up. She tells him about her dad's new job before casually mentioning Will's offer to live with his family.
- Patrick has his own surprising offer in response—she should live with him instead. Lou hesitantly agrees.
- Well, this is going to turn out great. Nothing could possibly go wrong.
