Me Before You Epilogue Summary

How It All Goes Down

September 29

  • Lou is at a Paris café, eating croissants and drinking coffee. She's doing this, according to her, because she's "following instructions" (e.1).
  • Lou looks at a letter that refers to said instructions. It's from Will.
  • The letter explains that Will is leaving Lou a small amount of money so she can go through with her education. He also tells her that she should live life with a new sense of zeal, though he knows that it will be hard at first.
  • The waiter offers Lou another coffee, but she declines. She pays her bill, walks away, and gets ready to explore the world in a way she never thought possible a year ago.
