- They drive to the courthouse, where dozens of media folks are waiting with microphones and cameras; Anna realizes that she's the huge news story.
- Inside the courtroom, Anna almost changes her mind and drops the lawsuit again, but her dad says that she can stay with him at the fire station so her mother won't have to leave the house.
