How It All Goes Down
Anna
- After recess (we don't get to see the judge playing on the swings and slides), the second witness is called: Dr. Bergen, head of the ethics committee.
- Bergen admits he voted against Anna donating a kidney to Kate, because it's still unlikely Kate will survive.
- In cross-examination, Sara asks him a hypothetical question: If he had a way to save his own son, would he question the medical ethics committee, or would he just take the opportunity to save him? "He doesn't answer. He doesn't have to" (7.2.99).
- During the second recess, Anna gives her mother a kiss on the cheek and tells her that she did a good job. Wait, who is the mother here?
