Mam and Mrs. Vollmer

Even though Mam is technically an employee of the Vollmer household, Victor is more emotionally close to her than he is with his own mother. Mrs. Vollmer loves Victor but is distant and often away on vacation. She's also not exactly forthcoming with him—for instance, she doesn't tell him that his father isn't biologically related to him.

With Mam, though, Victor has a close bond where he feels like he can tell her everything, even his deepest fears. He knows that she'll always be there for him and understand him fully. For more on Mam, be sure to swing by her page in the "Characters" section.
