  • He runs toward Marion on the pier, but when he reaches the end, she's gone.
  • He takes a step backward and falls into darkness.
  • Harry wakes up in the hospital, and he's half the man he used to be.
  • His left arm is a bandaged stump.
  • He cries, because he knows Marion won't come for him.
  • Meanwhile, Ty, exhausted, lies in bed in prison, twitching, going through drug withdrawal, and missing his mommy.
  • In New York, Sara's friends visit her in the hospital.
  • They're shocked to find her rail thin, her head almost shaved.
  • And Marion lies on the couch in her apartment and cuddles her new wad of cash and/or drugs.
  • Finally, we see Sara lying in her hospital bed, still imagining herself on television.
  • "We got a winner. We got a winner," the audience chants.
  • Tappy tells her she's won the grand prize: her son, cleaned up, sober, and successful.
  • In her vision, they tell each other they love each other, and the audience cheers.
  • Fade to black.
