Requiem for a Dream Scene 4 Summary

  • Harry and his girlfriend, Marion, throw paper airplanes from the top of a building.
  • He asks Marion why she doesn't like her parents, when they give her everything.
  • She doesn't want just money, though. She wants to be on her own.
  • He suggests she open a clothing store, but she says she can't. It would cut into her Harry time.
  • On their way out of the building, which they have snuck into, Marion triggers an emergency alarm, forcing them to run from security. Seems she's a bit of a thrill seeker. Paper airplanes weren't enough?
