Okay, so we'll admit that we had some N'Sync posters hanging on our walls back in the day. But we stopped short of actually talking to them, thank you very much. For Sam, however, Tony Hawk isn't just a poster or a superstar skateboarder—he's a mentor and friend. Whenever Sam has troubles, he dashes to his room to talk them out with Tony. No, Tony doesn't actually answer back (since posters can't talk), but Sam imagines that he does, using quotes from Tony's book to make his idol his real-life mentor.
