- Tendai wakes Rita up and tells her about Myanda's visit. Even though Tendai thinks this is good news, Rita is annoyed about it.
- Why doesn't Myanda do something to help them? What's the deal with her taking a vow of silence?
- She laps up some water like she hasn't had any in days. That's when Tendai realizes that Rita looks a little clammy, too.
- No one really gets sick any more in 2194, but everything is different in Resthaven. Who knows what kind of germs they have here?
- Tendai and Rita are taken out to the village, where everyone is waiting for them. The Spirit Medium explains that they will drink a potion to figure out whether they are witches or not.
- Score, just like Myanda said. Now all Tendai has to do is secretly put the chicken droppings in his without anybody seeing.
- Up first? Rita, who is so sick already that she pukes her potion almost instantly. Lucky gal.
- Tendai is next. Luckily, no one catches him mixing in the droppings. Sure enough, he barfs all over the place.
- Sigh. Each of them passed with flying colors. The good news is no one thinks they are witches. The bad news is that now they aren't allowed to leave… ever.
- But the ceremony isn't over yet.
- Some of the villagers were given the potion, too, as a control. Puke is everywhere.
- One lucky candidate? Myanda, who hasn't gotten rid of her potion yet. The people are closing in on her since they assume she's a witch.
- No one knows what to do. The chief speaks up and encourages Myanda to confess that she is, in fact, a witch. It's the only way they can save her.
- She does just that and then runs off into the woods to be sick. Let's just say if it doesn't come out one end, it usually finds its way to the other.
- Trashman shows up. He seems to be the only one who can go inside Resthaven and the real world since he acts like a four year old most of the time.
- He grabs the handle of the gate to the outside, and Tendai gets Rita and Kuda to follow him.
- Finally, they are back in the city again.
