Point of View
A Two-Stor(e)y…
Thelma and Louise is told in a standard narrative way and doesn't take many risks with narrative technique.
On the one hand, we have Thelma and Louise flying through the countryside with their sizzly red-hair blazing over American desert wastelands, trailing millions of teensy Wild Turkey bottles.
On the other hand, we have staunch Inspector Hal and all Hal's men watching soaps and staking out Darryl's place while they wait to hear from the girls. Everything comes together when all the characters meet at the Grand Canyon for a final showdown.
