How It All Goes Down
- Back in the present, it's all stormy and, horror of horrors, the TV is out.
- With no boob tube to space out to, Dominick spends a few pages wallowing in hatred and self-pity: stupid grandpa; stupid white people taking away Indian lands; stupid cops beating Rodney King.
- A phone call interrupts his quiet rage. It's Ralph Drinkwater.
- He says that what he's about to tell Dominick is a secret, and he can't ever mention Ralph's name.
- Then he drops a bomb: He tells Dominick to get Thomas tested for HIV.
