Sheriff Greebs and Deputy Babcock

Sheriff L. Greebs and Deputy Sheriff Brenda Babcock are the quintessential good cop/bad cop duo in town. They're opposites in every way possible. Greebs is a "plump, red-faced man" (30), while Babcock is a "beautiful African-American woman" with cheekbones to die for. Greebs is a dishonest bully who ends up facing corruption charges, while the trustworthy Babcock is busy busting the burglars in town. When G.T. becomes mayor of Mulhoney, he gives Greebs the boot and Babcock takes over the job.
