Sophie may be a huge jerk to Annabel throughout the book, but her bullying pales in comparison to Will Cash's downright evilness. Will Cash is a smug guy who thinks that he can get away with raping girls and cheating on his girlfriend. Annabel always feels sick and is frightened when she sees him, but in the end she is finally able to look him in the eye unafraid. She has more power over him in the courtroom, despite the fact that he overpowered and assaulted her.
