M. Night Shyamalan

We talk more about Shyamalan in the "Director" section, but just a couple of quick notes about his screenwriting career in particular:

• He got $5 million to write Signs, which made him Hollywood's highest paid screenwriter at the time.
• Even though he's known for horror/suspense/sci-fi, he directed…Stuart Little. In the same year he did The Sixth Sense? Yeah, we don't get it either.
