Maura Sargent

Even though she annoys Blue with all her rules—well, her one rule—Maura Sargent is still a wise mother who is trying to be there for her only daughter. When she learns that Blue is supposed to meet a boy named Gansey, she tries to keep Blue away from the raven boys because she's afraid of her daughter getting hurt.

But when it becomes clear that things have gotten out of hand and someone is going to wake the ley lines (or die trying), Maura is the first one to encourage Blue to help her friends. She knows when to let go of her parental control and give her daughter the encouragement that she needs in times of trouble. Go, Mom.
