Dolores and Jessica

Behind every good man is a woman…or at least a Toon woman who looks like the female silhouette you see on big rig mud flaps.

Roger Rabbit follows this pattern with each of its male leads' love interests. Eddie's a detective, but it's Dolores who houses Roger and does the research that uncovers the railroad plot. And no offense to Roger, but Jessica literally does everything on their side of things. She learns about Doom's involvement in the plot, protects Roger, and forces herself to patty cake with old Marvin Acme.

You know how Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did but backwards, in heels? Jessica Rabbit does it all in heels…and while having the proportions of a Barbie Doll.
