Surrender Chapter 12 Summary

Finnigan

  • McIllwraith is asleep on the floor when Finnigan walks in his house. He left Surrender on the roof to look out.
  • Finnigan's hungry, so he scopes out the kitchen first. Then he thinks about the bones.
  • He explains that he's not very happy with McIllwraith because Gabriel stuck his neck out for the guy—spilling his dad's secrets—and for what?
  • McIllwraith could have helped Gabriel, but he didn't. There's nothing but silence in response.
  • We start to get a clearer picture of what's going on, but only small details.
  • Finnigan has a stake and McIllwraith is nervous. It doesn't look good for the constable.
