- Gemma goes into the empty bus and starts crying in the dark. She's obviously pretty distraught and wondering if she just went crazy.
- Alex comes into the bus and asks her if something horrible or sad happened to her, but she refuses to tell him and starts making a move to get off the bus. And then he touches her.
- This totally distracts her, and she gets even more distracted when he leans in to kiss her. Gemma is about to fall into that kiss when she hears Aislin's voice in the bus. She's demanding to know what her brother is doing.
- Aislin tells Alex that he should know better than to do something like that, but Alex tells her to be quiet and asks Gemma what she sees outside.
- Gemma says that she feels something cold and slimy close by, and then looks at the windows to see that there's frost across all over them—it's spreading to cover the whole bus.
- She sees a flicker of yellow outside and realizes in horror that her nightmares are coming true. How is this possible?
- Things get weirder when Aislin kneels to the floor and starts doing something with a candle and a chunk of amethyst.
- Alex asks her if she knows what those things outside are, and she says that she's seen them before. This freaks Alex and Aislin out because they realize that those things know something.
- That's when Alex refers to them as Death Walkers and says that if Gemma leaves the bus, the monsters will kill her. So she should just stay put.
- The temperature continues to drop and Gemma feels her body giving into the darkness. Alex tells her that she has to stay awake and then yells at his sister to hurry up.
- The next thing she knows, Gemma is flying through the air.
