Exactly how steamy is this story?

This is a book for elementary school kids, so don't expect anything more romantic than typical schoolyard taunts and teasing. The boys in the class chase Allison, who they think is pretty, until Allison has to threaten them with knocking their teeth out; Mrs. Gorf and Mrs. Jewls are supposedly married, given their names, but we never meet their significant others; and the only kiss in the book is the hilarious conclusion to Jason's story, when Joy decides that the best way to get Jason unstuck from his seat (where she's glued him with a giant wad of gum) is to kiss him.
In other words, nothing to see here, Shmoopsters. This is fun for the whole family.
