- Treehorn receives a mysterious phone call, leaves, and returns.
- Then, he offers The Dude a second White Russian. Confident that all loose ends have been tied up, The Dude accepts the drink, which is a bit stronger than he'd anticipated.
- The Dude proceeds to pass out, mumbling, "All The Dude ever wanted was his rug back … it really … tied the room together."
