- The Dude is brought to the Malibu sheriff's office.
- The Malibu sheriff is not excited to see The Dude. According to the sheriff, The Dude had to be ejected from Jackie Treehorn's garden party for causing a ruckus.
- "I don't like your jerk-off name," the sheriff tells him. "I don't like your jerk-off face, I don't like your jerk-off behavior, and I don't like you, jerk-off."
- The sheriff then proceeds to beat up The Dude and kick him out of Malibu.
- So much for community policing.
- In the taxi on the way home, The Dude complains that he hates the Eagles (another dad band) and asks the cab driver to change the radio station.
- Furious, the cab driver pulls over and kicks him out.
- As The Dude stands miserable on the side of the road, Bunny Lebowski drives by in a red convertible, all 10 of her polished toes intact.
