How It All Goes Down
- Bad news, guys. Dad lost his job. Again.
- This one Dad had kept for six months.
- The family must scavenge for food. Sometimes, they eat margarine as a meal. They can't believe it's not a meal.
- Mom and Dad fight about the fact that Dad isn't bringing in enough money to care for the family.
- The fight escalates until Mom goes flying out of the second-story window.
- Mom yells that Dad is trying to kill her. Dad says she jumped. The whole town stares on, saying they're both cray.
- Finally, Dad pulls Mom back inside, and they make up, as easy as that.
