Part V: Thanksgiving
- Jeannette has remarried. She and her husband John live outside the city, and they've invited the whole Walls clan for Thanksgiving.
- Jeannette shows everyone around the property.
- At dinner, Mom has good news: she's been a squatter for fifteen years, but the city has agreed to sell all the squatters in her building the apartments they're in for a dollar each.
- The family talks about Dad, and they decide to raise a toast to him.
- Mom raises her glass and says, "Life with your father was never boring" (5.1.25).
- Ain't that the truth.
