How It All Goes Down
- Thomas wakes up to see Newt staring at him. Newt reminisces about the good old days when the "original Gladers" were setting up the Glade.
- It must have been quite the scene for the original Gladers, but they were pretty darn good about being confused and such. They got the farm up and running within days.
- Hey, maybe those kids from Lord of the Flies could have learned something from these kids.
- Anyway, Thomas is all sad-face because he thinks they've been left there to die, but Newt reassures him that they're all being put through another kind of test, like the Maze.
- Well, we guess that's reassurance in some twisted way.
- Hunger then starts to settle in for the boys. They go about three days without food, and all of them are on the verge of starvation.
- So, what does Thomas do? He falls asleep. Perfect.
- Minho wakes Thomas up (thank you) and gives him an apple. Apparently, a random assortment of fruits, vegetables, and packages appeared in the common area that night.
- Oh, and one more thing: a skinny dude wearing a white suit has also appeared.
- Yep.
- And this dude is sitting in a chair reading a book.
- Just your typical night, folks. Nothing to worry about here.
