- Mclean checks into her room and just sits down on the bed and starts to cry. Everything in her whole life is a complete mess right now, and she doesn't know what to do. She has no real place that's hers.
- But she does have a 2:00AM that she can call—so she dials Dave's number and starts sobbing, telling him that she does want to go out with him. She also tells him where she is, and he says that he'll be there soon.
- Even though she's exhausted, Mclean starts looking through all of the boxes that were in her old car; she finds pictures of her with her mom, and pictures of her parents together.
- Then she finds a notebook and starts to record all of her different personas: Eliza, Lizbet, Beth, and Liz. Then she falls asleep.
- She wakes to someone knocking on the door, and goes to open it, fully expecting to see Dave—but instead it's her parents waiting for her on the other side of the door.
