The Sun is Also a Star Chapter 35: Natasha Summary

How It All Goes Down

  • Natasha mentally acknowledges that wooing her with science is a pretty smart technique.
  • She's totally falling for him.
  • Reading from the 36 questions, she asks if he wants to be famous. He says he'd be a poet-in-chief.
  • Natasha would be a benevolent dictator and rule the world by deciding what was good for everyone.
  • She thinks about the multiverses that could have existed instead of this one and wishes she was in one where her headphones didn't break.
  • Daniel moves on to a different question, their secret hunches about how they'll die.
  • Natasha says that, statistically speaking, she's most likely to die of heart disease. Daniel thinks he'll die attempting to stop a robbery.
  • She tells him Asian American men are most likely to die of cancer and then confesses that she secretly thinks she'll drown in the deep end of a hotel pool.
  • Even though she was born in Jamaica, she can't swim. Daniel offers to teach her, and she sorta wishes he could.
