How It All Goes Down
- They're on the subway, and Daniel can feel Natasha becoming distant again.
- He needs her to validate the strength of their connection.
- He asks what she's so afraid of.
- Natasha asks what he's talking about, even though she knows.
- He tells her she has to acknowledge that they're meant to be, and she storms to the other side of the train, dashes out the door, and up the stairs.
- When he catches up to her, she tells him "meant to be" doesn't exist, and even if it did, it definitely doesn't for them.
- She finally tells him the truth: She's an undocumented immigrant and this is her last day in America.
- She doesn't want to fight with him and wishes she had told him sooner, but she didn't think it would be this hard or that she'd feel so strongly about him.
