- Spring 1996 (Clare is 24, Henry is 32): Clare has a miscarriage during the eighth week of her pregnancy. Bleeding intensely, she calls Charisse to take her to the hospital because Henry is away on his travels. Henry arrives at the hospital when it's all over.
- Thursday, June 13 and Friday, June 14, 1996 (Henry is 32): Henry is being monitored at the sleep lab. He has vivid dreams and eventually time travels and then pops back, allowing Kendrick to record his brain activity during his time travels as well.
