Quote #7
When Robbie took the stage again I had to stop myself gazing at him like an idiot. He was so gorgeous and he had kissed me! (11.1018)
This is another moment when Georgia expresses her physical attraction toward Robbie. But we have a question: Is it love if she thinks openly admiring him makes her an "idiot"? Why or why not?
Quote #8
Oh why this? Why would he be such a pig as to say that? Oh I hate him, I hate him […] I hate him, I hate him […] Oh I love him […] I love him. (11.1051-1053)
Robbie tells Lindsay that Georgia kissed him, rather than vise versa. Say what? Despite her anger, though, Georgia still has it hard for Robbie. What can we say? She's pretty easily distracted by chest muscles and not necessarily super solid about what counts as loving behavior.
Quote #9
Robbie has just gone. I feel all hollow inside like a hallowed-out coconut. He looked so gorgeous, all in black and sort of sad. He gave me a brilliant smile when he saw me and then he just pulled me toward him […]. (12.1100)
Robbie tells Georgia they can't be together and she's left heartbroken. Too bad we doubt anyone can convince her that he's not nearly as awesome as she believes.
