- Kym heals Percy of the poison and warns him that his blood will awake Gaea.
- Percy and Jason leave, but they rest on the dome of a sunken temple before returning to the ship.
- Jason realizes that his wound is healed. He's not sure why. Because he honored his friends? Or because he honored both Roman and Greek gods? Who knows? At least he's not going to die.
