- The island is deserted, except for two gods: Apollo and Artemis.
- Apollo says he can't help them with the physician's cure, and he pitches a fit, smashing his ukulele.
- Artemis takes Hazel and Frank away but tells Leo that he may be able to bargain with her brother.
