How It All Goes Down
- Marie and Jason are staking out the bank to see if d'Amacourt comes out. He does. Bourne accosts him. He is seriously freaked out, since he thinks Bourne is in London at this point.
- Bourne and d'Amacourt get drinks. D'Amacourt admits he's sneaky and suggests Bourne pay him to help him get his money out.
- Bourne agrees, and d'Amacourt tells him that there was a fiche on the account. This means there were instructions that a number was to be called when Bourne tried to take out money.
- The number to call was altered from one in New York to one in Paris.
- D'Amacourt spoke to a woman who wanted him to identify Bourne when he came into the office, which means they still don't really know what he looks like.
- Bourne agrees to pay d'Amacourt 50,000 francs to sneakily get the money out without reactivating the fiche.
- Bourne meets again with Marie again. She gets in touch with Dennis, an official at the Canadian embassy in Paris, who agrees to check the phone number Bourne got from the fiche. (She lies to Dennis a little about what she needs it for.)
- After dinner, Marie calls Peter. Someone else answers and tells her that he's been shot in the throat while meeting someone at the airport, and that he is dead. (Bourne may not be bad for Marie, but he seems to be bad for everyone anywhere near her.)
- And now we go back to check on that bad guy again. Carlos is chatting with one of his elderly minions and explains that he has decided to get at Bourne through Marie.
