How It All Goes Down
A Visit
- Arthur hides, and Willbury opens the door to see a gruff-looking dude who introduces himself as Gristle.
- He's there to sell miniature pets. Willbury buys them, and then shuts the door on Gristle, who also wants to buy the normal-sized boxtrolls and cabbagehead from him.
- Arthur comes out of hiding. Inside the box are some tiny trotting badgers, a tiny boxtroll, and a tiny cabbagehead, and inside the pail is a teeny tiny freshwater sea-cow.
- Willbury gives the tiny boxtroll to Fish, Shoe, and Egg to look after, and the tiny cabbagehead to Titus to look after. They put the mini sea-cow in a fish tank, and the trotting badgers escape into a mouse hole.
- Now that everyone's settled, Willbury draws up a shopping list. Then, leaving the underlings at home, Arthur and Willbury set off for the market.
- They don't notice that some shady-looking dudes are watching from across the street. Once Willbury and Arthur are gone, the guys pull out some sacks and head toward the shop. Gulp.
