Shiver Theme of Compassion and Forgiveness

Forgiveness, popularized by Jesus back in the Biblical days, is a valued trait. Maybe because it's so freaking difficult to actually forgive somebody. Now imagine if that “somebody” was a werewolf who almost ate you. If you turned the other cheek, well, the wolf would probably just bite it off. This is just one of many moral dilemmas pertaining to compassion and forgiveness in Shiver.
